Until further notice, the obligation to attend Sunday Mass is suspended. We will continue to stream the mass at facebook.com/sjbmanayunk if you are unable to attend Mass in-person. Please join us virtually to keep holy the Lord's Day and Holy Days of Obligation.
The Sunday Bulletin contains the Liturgy Guide, please pick one up as we are not using missals at this time.

Funerals, weddings, and baptisms may continue to be held as planned, not exceeding the current designated capacity of the church and with social distancing with each family that lives in the same household seated together. Baptisms may be scheduled if all baptismal preparation and paperwork is submitted and complete.

ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST LITURGICAL & OTHER OFFERINGS
FOR ALL LITURGICAL CELEBRATIONS, PLEASE WEAR A MASK, SANITIZE, AND SOCIAL DISTANCE
Public Celebrations of the Mass are resumed on the regular schedule; please wear a mask.
There will be no offering of the cup during the Mass and be no physical contact sign of peace; please receive Holy Communion in the hand at this time or see the priest after the Mass ends to receive on the tongue.
Please remove your mask to receive Communion and replace it, do not carry the Blessed Sacrament back to the pew.
The disabled and elderly may sit at the break in the designated pews and a Eucharistic Minister or Priest will come to you at Communion.
Any Mass intentions not honored during the COVID-19 shut down will be forwarded to future open dates.
- Sunday Adoration will no longer be held.
- Confessions are held in the Church from 3:00 PM until 3:40 PM at the Blessed Mother’s Altar.
- The Chapel is open for private prayer weekdays from 9AM until 4PM.
- We will continue to offer the Vigil and Sunday Mass on-line during the weekend for at-risk individuals
COMMUNION VISITS / ANOINTING OF THE SICK
At this time taking Communion to the Sick in the home is not recommended.
Viaticum may still be administered by the priest if in danger of death by calling the Rectory at 215.482.4600.
Baptismal Pre-Jordan is being held via Zoom; please email email@example.com to register.
Baptisms are scheduled according to group restrictions on the Second Sunday of Each Month. A Limited number is designated for each Baptism Sunday.
Funerals may be held in the Church and as always arrangements will be made through the Funeral Director and grouped according to the current restrictions.
Weddings may be held according to the current liturgical permissions.
RECTORY & CHAPEL
The Rectory office is open Monday - Friday 9AM until 4PM. Please wear a mask when you visit and use the intercom system. You may also call us at 215-482-4600 and leave a message, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The All Saints’ Chapel is open for 7:00 AM Daily Mass and prayer until 4:00 PM with Adoration on Fridays.
Parish Committee Meetings will be held via Zoom, if needed the Committee chair may contact the Parish Operations Director to assist with setup of the virtual meeting. All necessary in-person interactions must be held safely by wearing masks and social distancing.
There will be no collection during Mass, a station will be designated for envelope drop-off.
You may continue to use the mailslot on the Rectory Door to drop off your envelope, or sign up for online giving at www.stjohnmanayunk.org by clicking “Donate Now”. Thank you for your support during this difficult time.
PREP will be offered this Fall virtually and families will be contacted.
The Lottery will not be held at this time. Small groups may gather by contacting the Parish Operations Director at 215.482.4600 x 112. Please see the Zoom option above if interested.
