Marriage

Sacrament of Marriage

“Live at the heart of the sacrament of the Covenant, your marriage nourished by the Eucharist and the Eucharist illumined by your sacrament of marriage; the future of the world depends on it.” – JPII

Congratulations!

To plan a wedding date at St. John the Baptist Church, engaged couples must

1) fill out the Initial Inquiry form below, then
2) attend and Engaged Couples' meeting to select a wedding date.

Questions regarding date availability and fees may be discussed with the priest at the meeting.  We do not send a reminder, but if you need to cancel or we reschedule for any reason, you will be contacted.

Once you attend the in-person meeting, we will:

1. Pencil in your wedding date (contingent upon your attendance at one of these meetings with the parish priest) and

2. Provide you with the necessary steps to begin preparing for and planning your wedding in the Catholic Church.

Meetings are held at the St. John the Baptist Parish Center in the All Saints' Chapel at 146 Rector Street. (Enter the Chapel by turning left when arriving at the front porch of the Parish Center.)

* Due to pending date confirmations, our office staff is unable to provide any information over the phone.

(Pre-Cana Marriage PREP will be held Saturday, Dec. 9 at IHM Parish In Andorra.  You must call to register - 215-482-0450.  Fee is $100 per couple)

Please fill out the form below to begin planning for your wedding at St. John the Baptist.  Thank you!
